Mark Arts

STEAM Academy

Mark Arts Summer STEAM Academy emphasizes creativity and innovation, linking art to concepts in science, technology, engineering and math. Students are grouped by age, and will explore mixed media, drawing, painting, culinary and clay projects inspired by the weekly theme. Morning sessions are for ages 5-8, and afternoon sessions are for ages 9-12. The afternoon sessions will feature a weekly culinary lesson taught by an aspiring culinary artist. The week will conclude with guest speakers from the Wichita community and a presentation of the students’ work for family, friends, and visitors.

Class sizes will be limited, and social distancing will be maintained. Students will use separate rather than shared supplies.

STEAM Academy enrollments are limited to no more than two consecutive weeks. Please contact us at 316-634-2787 with questions about this.

If it is 24 hours or fewer before the STEAM Academy begins, our enrollment systems stops accepting enrollments and you will see a message saying “sold out.” Please call us at 316-634-2787 to check on available spaces if you are not able to enroll online.
