| Reflective objects have been a still life staple for centuries. It can be intimidating to include them in your drawing or painting. It is easier than you may think to recreate the illusion of reflective surfaces. This class breaks down the process beginning with heightening your observation skills of glass and metallic objects. Then we will explore a variety of mediums including charcoal, graphite, watercolor and acrylic paint. The class will finish with you making a final piece of art from your own photo in the medium of your choice. Open to students 16 and up. |
