Concerts at the Corner

Settle in for two evenings of live music under the Kansas sky at Mark Arts. Arrive early to explore the galleries, grab dinner and a drink, then enjoy an evening outdoors with friends and family.

August 20 | The Whips

Kansas-based funk band The Whips bring an energetic blend of funk, rock, and pop to the stage. Inspired by artists like Vulfpeck, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Phish, the group is known for infectious grooves, standout musicianship, and high-energy live performances.

Admission

Pre-registration is appreciated and encouraged.

Admission is $5 and tickets may be purchased online in advance or at the door.

• Concert Time: 7–8:30 p.m.
• Seating Begins: 6:30 p.m.
• Seating: Please bring your own blanket or lawn chair.
• Food & Drinks: Local food vendors and a mobile bar will be available throughout the evening.
• Galleries: The Mark Arts galleries will remain open late. Be sure to stop inside and explore the School of Creativity Salon and the Gladys & Karl T. Wiedemann Gallery.

Parking

Parking is available at Mark Arts via the entrances on 13th Street and Rock Road. Overflow parking is available at Reformation Lutheran Church, 7601 E. 13th St. N.
