Progressive bluegrass and folk band Pretend Friend will bring their high-energy performance to conclude our Concerts at The Corner outdoor music series on Thursday, Aug. 28.
A music festival favorite, Pretend Friend focuses on creating original music with captivating lyrics and soulful melodies.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. so concertgoers can find spots on the Great Lawn for their chairs or blankets, view art in our galleries, engage in creative activities in the sculpture garden or grab a bite from Funky Monkey Munchies food truck or beverages from the Xclusive mobile bar.
Dance performance by Ballet Folklorico en el Corazon, a Wichita-based group that fosters cultural pride in children through dance programs that teach Mexican traditions, at 6:45 p.m. Live music from 7-8:30 p.m.
Tickets are $5 for the public, $3 for Mark Arts members, and may be purchased in advance online or at the event.
