Crave Culinary Festival

This five-day festival features an artistic fusion of food and friends benefiting Mark Arts. A variety of culinary and libation workshops will be held Tuesday through Friday evenings featuring local and national culinary experts.

The festival culminates on Saturday, Sept. 23 with a Foodie Fair where guests can enjoy a keynote talk by food blogger Wichita by EB and sample food from local chefs and restaurants.

Foodie Fair + Talks

Broaden your horizons and explore the multifaceted food and hospitality industry with local experts. Tickets include the culinary keynote talk and samples from Foodie Fair vendors. Children ages 5 and older should purchase a ticket. Sales tax is included in the ticket price.

In the event of rain, the Foodie Fair and Keynote Talk will take place as scheduled inside the Mark Arts facility. No refunds.

Kick off the Crave Foodie Fair with Wichita’s popular food blogger, Wichita by EB. Since 2011, Wichita by EB author Eddy has sampled cuisine at more than 900 local restaurants and establishments. With a following of nearly 100,000 across multiple platforms, Wichita by EB has become the go-to source for trendy local events, music, dining, and more. Hear the behind-the-scenes details of Eddy’s journey in eating at every restaurant in Wichita, including the gems, adventures, highs, and lows.

Culinary Arts Workshop:
How the Sausage Gets Made

Tuesday, Sept. 19 | 6-8 p.m.

Join Chef Josh Rathbun as he leads you through techniques and traditions of classic sausage-making. You will create bratwurst, Italian sausage, and breakfast sausage from around the world as you learn about this unique culinary craft. Cocktail Tasting

Taste three unique whiskey cocktails crafted by LaVar Douglas of Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey while noshing on unique hor d’oeuvre pairings thoughtfully created by Chef Nick Korbee of First Mile Kitchen. Includes one ticket to the September 23 Foodie Fair ($25 value).

Based on the book by the same name, this class covers old and new Wichita favorites such as Saigon Restaurant’s No. 29, Mama Love’s Baked Mac and Cheese, Flying Stove’s Chicken Doobie, Anthony Card’s Seared Salmon, Garlic Salad, and more. Guests will receive a signed copy of the book by instructor Joe Stumpe. Includes one ticket to the September 23 Foodie Fair ($25 value).

Your palate will be delighted by five distinct wines – Epiphany Grenache Blanc, Riesling, Chardonnay, Big Easy 2020, and 2021 Pinot Noir – presented by Jayne O’Neil of Fess Parker Winery & Vineyards, paired with a curated tasting menu by Chef Ivan Garcia of Newport Grill.
