2020 Award Recipients

Mark Arts received 2,342 entries for the Eastern Kansas Scholastic Art Awards. Of those entries, the jurors selected 83 as Gold Key, 131 as Silver Key and 187 as Honorable Mention. Congratulations to all the students and educators involved!

Gold Key works are submitted for the national judging process, and five Gold Key recipients were nominated for the Eastern Kansas American Visions Medal, which will be selected later this year.

College Scholarship Open House

A College Scholarship Open House will be held on March 28th from 1 PM – 3 PM

Awards Ceremony

A Closing Ceremony will be held March 28, 2020 from 3 PM -5 PM for Gold Key  and Cash Award recipients in our Great Hall. 

National Competition

Artists whose pieces were selected for the National Competition will be notified on March 16, 2020. Gold Medal artwork must be delivered to the National Office by April 1, 2020. A National Ceremony will then be held at Carnegie Hall on June 4, 2020.
