What is the capacity?
Mark Arts’ Great Hall can comfortably seat up to 350 people at 10-foot round tables with 10 seats per table. Additional seating can be added to the Youth Gallery, Gladys and Karl T. Wiedemann Gallery and School of Creativity Commons. Outdoor seating is also available.

Can I have my ceremony and reception at Mark Arts?
Yes! We have a variety of customizable spaces, both indoor and outdoor, to host your ceremony and reception with no downtime for flipping.
Can I use any caterer?
Of course! Mark Arts has an open catering policy. Caterers must be licensed and insured. Our catering kitchen provides ample space for your special day to run smoothly behind the scenes.
Can I use any bartender?
No, we ask that you select from one of our four preferred alcohol vendors: Scotch & Sirloin, YaYa’s Euro Bistro, The Bar’s Open or Xclusive Event Services. These vendors are not only licensed and insured, but also familiar with our event space.
How many parking spaces are available at Mark Arts?
Mark Arts’ parking lot has 152 spaces. An additional 173 spaces are available via a sidewalk just west of the building.
Do I need to schedule a tour to see Mark Arts event space?
We cannot wait for you to see our beautiful facility in person, but we ask that you please do schedule a tour. This will allow ample time to explore the facility and answer your questions. Please contact Event Rentals Manager Sheri Light at [email protected] or (316) 932-1790 to schedule your tour.
What kind of tables does Mark Arts provide?
Mark Arts has 40 72-inch round tables, 30 6-foot rectangular tables and 10 round cocktail tables. There’s no need for heavy lifting – setup is included in your rental price!
Does Mark Arts provide linens, décor, etc.?
Mark Arts does not offer linens or décor at this time. We are happy to provide a list of recommended vendors upon request.
Is security included in the rental price?
Security is included for all nighttime rentals.
