Wine & Spirits: Piedmont - The Gem of Northeast Italy

There was a point in time when Piedmont and its wine regions were among the poor areas of the country. The emergence of Barolo and Barbaresco on a world stage plus the wonders of Piedmonts foods, especially truffles, has put a watchful eye on the joys of this region. For this tasting we will look at some history of Piedmont, the emergence of the wine regions, and taste through the most important wines of this very special area. Sorry… no truffles served but feel free to bring your own! Must be 21 to enroll. Guests are encouraged to bring food to enjoy with their wine.
