Multimedia: Colored Pencils, Watercolor, and Pastels

This course focuses on creative exploration in a supportive and relaxed studio environment. Students will work on individual projects at their own pace, with guidance tailored to their personal interests and skill level. Mixed media includes pastel, charcoal, colored pencil, watercolor pencil, watercolor, tempera, and acrylic paint. Emphasis will be placed on key visual concepts such as composition, color mixing, and layering as well as discussion of content. Students are encouraged to experiment with the medium(s) of their choice while developing their artistic voice and technical skills.
