Introduction to Papermaking

Students will learn the process of recycling used paper into paper pulp, gaining an understanding of sustainable art practices and materials. They will explore a range of creative techniques for working with the pulp, including casting into molds, hand-sculpting for three-dimensional forms, and traditional sheet-making methods to produce new paper. Open to students ages 16 and up.
