Autumn and Art
This juried art show and sale is set for mid-September on the scenic Bradley Fair Parkway, just south and east of Rock Road and 21st Street North.
The Mary R. Koch School of Visual Arts sponsors the Artie’s Art Studio and Artie’s Clubhouse Gallery at Autumn & Art. The projects are simple but exciting and we can always use extra hands to help make Artie’s Art Studio fun for all. We are looking for volunteers to help with hands-on projects and face painting. This is also a great way to get service hours for school.
This alfresco event features nearly 100 artists from 21 states, exhibiting their jewelry, oil paintings, glass works, watercolors, fiber art, ceramics, photographs and other pieces.
Free and open to the public, Autumn & Art youth activities are typically scheduled from 10 – 7 p.m. on Saturday and 10 – 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Family entertainment—from live music to art demonstrations and more—will be presented in a variety of areas throughout the weekend. On Saturday and Sunday visit Artie’s Clubhouse, Autumn & Art’s Kids’ Gallery, which offers artwork created and priced with youngsters in mind. Free art-themed games and hands-on art activities sponsored by Mark Arts also will be available Saturday and Sunday.
