Volunteer for Autumn and Art
The Mary R. Koch School of Visual Arts sponsor’s Autumn and Art’s Kid’s Gallery and Artie’s Clubhouse. We are looking for volunteers to help with hands-on projects and face painting. The projects are simple but exciting. We need extra hands to help make Artie’s Clubhouse run smoothly. This is also a great way to get service hours for school. About Autumn and Art
This juried art show and sale is set for Sept. 16 – 18 on the scenic Bradley Fair Parkway, just south and east of Rock Road and 21st Street North.
This alfresco event features nearly 100 artists from 21 states, exhibiting their jewelry, oil paintings, glass works, watercolors, fiber art, ceramics, photographs and other pieces.
Free and open to the public, Autumn & Art is scheduled from 6-9 p.m., Friday, Sept. 16, 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 17 and 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 18.
Entertainment—from live music to art demonstrations and more—will be presented in a variety of areas throughout the weekend. On Saturday and Sunday visit Artie’s Clubhouse, Autumn & Art’s Kids’ Gallery, which offers artwork created and priced with youngsters in mind. Free art-themed games and hands-on art activities sponsored by Wichita Center for the Arts also will be available Saturday and Sunday.
