Thank you for your interest in sharing your artwork with Mark Arts. Several opportunities for artists to get involved are listed here, and details on submitting an exhibition proposal are included below. Artists are also invited to learn more about workshops and classes in our School of Creativity.

National Watercolor Exhibition

The 2025 National Watercolor Exhibition is open to all artists living and working in the United States, both amateur and professional. Watercolorist Paul Jackson of Missouri will serve as this year’s exhibition juror. The exhibition will be on view from August 1-September 27, 2025, in the Gladys and Karl T. Wiedemann Gallery at Mark Arts in Wichita, KS. Submissions are due May 30.

Exhibition Proposals

Mark Arts is pleased to welcome exhibition proposals from artists, curators, and organizations. Interested parties should contact [email protected] with the following items in PDF format:

 

  • – Name, phone number, email address and mailing address
  • – Artist biography and CV
  • – 350-700 word description of the proposed exhibition concept
  • – Checklist of works with anticipated art sale price points and installation/deinstallation notes
  • – 5-7 hi-resolution images or illustrations of work intended to be exhibited

Mark Arts Exhibition Task Force reviews proposals on an annual basis. Proposals are now being accepted for exhibitions occurring in 2025 or later. Thank you for your interest in sharing your artwork with Mark Arts!

Mark Arts galleries are open to the public 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
Admission is free.
